BAME Employability Project completed

The BAME Student Employability Project began in October 2010 with the aim of identifying and addressing obstacles BAME students face in attaining a positive university experience and a successful graduate career. Over the course of six months 18 students were paired with 10 mentors and met regularly to discuss work and educational aspirations, and how they could best go about achieving their goals.

The project has led to numerous positive outcomes for mentees and mentors alike, and will be repeated in 2011. Please see the final report on the project for more details regarding aims, outcomes, and future mentoring opportunities.
